Anger. Frustration. Doubt.
From budding young newlyweds who find their once electrifying passion for one another short-circuited, to mature couples whose times of surprise weekend getaways and dancing till 2 a.m. are a faint memory, many couples struggle with feeling as though they have “nothing in common anymore.”
Do you believe your relationship can be better than it currently is? Do you feel unappreciated by your partner? Are you at a crossroads where you need to decide if you are going to continue to stay together or not? Or perhaps you’re in a new relationship that you want to get off to a great start?
Through Imago Relationship Therapy, Jill Fein Baker reestablishes that lost connection for individuals, couples, families and groups in her office in Skokie, Illinois. She passionately believes in the power of the committed, love relationship as an environment for healing and growth. Through Imago Relationship Therapy (IRT), Jill helps clients discover the underlying issues of their past to create deeper, truer connections with their loved ones.
If you are in a committed relationship, Jill strongly encourages you to come in with your partner, even if your issue looks like an “individual” one at first.
Individuals generally come in once a week for an hour. Jill works with clients on a one-to-one basis to safely help discover past patterns that may be playing out in their adult relationships. She also helps enable clients to acquire positive relationship skills.
Jill is dedicated to facilitating a deep compassionate, connected relationship for couples, married or unmarried, same sex or opposite sex, pre-marital or on the verge of breaking up. Couples’ weekly sessions range from an hour and up, including intensives, depending on the needs of the couple.
A family session can help bridge the communication gap between parents and children. Through identifying underlying messages and staying tuned-in to your children’s experience, Jill guides families to better opportunities for connection.
